Here are some of the places we have been on Holiday.

Madeira and Porto Santo (March 1994)
This was a two centre holiday with the first week on Madeira and the second week on Porto Santo. In Madeira we stayed in the Quinta Perestrello and on Porto Santo we stayed at the Hotel Porto Santo.

Portugal (Oct 1994)
Stayed in the Algarve Region in Albufeira. The Hotel was the Alisios on cliffs overlooking the beach and we had a sea view room with a balcony.

California (Easter 1995)
We did the West Coast of America as part of a British Airways Holiday Fly Drive from Heathrow. During the two weeks we travelled down as far as San Diego, across to Las Vegas and up to San Francisco. All done in an open top Mustang. Visiting Los Angeles, San Diego, Palm Springs, Scottsdale, Grand Canyon, Las Vegas (Aladdin Hotel), Death Valley (Stovepipe Wells Village), Yosemite (Mariposa Lodge), San Francisco, Monterey, Carmel and Santa Barbara. The longest leg was 6.22h and the shortest was 1.38h based on 55mph.

Malaysia and Singapore (August/September 1995)
Long flight to KL and a transfer to Penang.

Canada - Vancouver (May/June 1996)
For Vancouver we flew from London Heathrow. 

Barbados (Sept 1996)
Two weeks in the Discovery Bay Hotel on the beach near HoleTown.

Canada - Toronto (May 1997)
We flew from Manchester Airport, UK, to get to Toronto and drove up to Ottawa. One week in National Park in a log cabin.

Dominican Republic (1997)
All inclusive deal.

Canada - Toronto (May 1998)
Flew in Toronto and visited Niagara falls. Long drive to Ottawa. A Week in the Algonquin National Park in a log cabin.

Hong Kong - (Sept 1998)
Stayed on the main island at the end of Princess Street

Cornwall (Sept 2000)
Now we have a daughter we choose to stay in the UK. We selected a child friendly Hotel in Cornwall near Newquay. It was called the Sands Resort Hotel.

France (May 2003)
First long holiday in France in the Vendee Region at St-Jean-DeMonts near Challans. Staying on a Haven Owned site in a Mobile Home. (Now called Siblu). Also a long weekend trip to Disney Land Paris.

Italy (May 2003)
Seaside Holiday in a hotel in Diano Marina, located about 90km southwest of Genoa.

France (Nov 2003)
Disneyland Paris, long weekend in the Sequoia Lodge on the Resort. Freezing cold.

France (July 2004)
Second long stay in France in the Vendee Region at St-Jean-DeMonts near Challans. Staying on a Haven owned site in a Mobile Home. This time on the Bois Dormont Site. (Now called Siblu).

France (Aug  2005)
Third long stay in France in the Vendee Region at St-Jean-DeMonts near Challans. Staying on a Haven owned site in a Mobile Home. (Now called Siblu).

France (Aug  2006)
Fourth long stay in France in the Vendee Region at St-Jean-De-Monts near Challans. Staying on a Haven owned site in a Mobile Home. (Now called Siblu).

Disney World Florida (Oct 2006)
One week in Disney World Orlando staying in the All Starts Resort.

France (Jul 2007)
Twelve days back in St-Jean-De-Monts. Haven owned Mobile home this time.

France (July - Aug 2008)
Crossing from Dover to Boulogne for a cheap fast crossing and driving to St-Jean-De-Monts in July. Staying overnight on the way at the ACROPOLE in Bernay.
Returning home with another overnight stay in a Novotel in Rouen before catching the ferry back from Boulogne to Dover in August. Nearly three weeks in France.
Staying at the Vendee Loisirs Vacances site in St-Jean-De-Monts.

Moving House (July 2009) - So no Holiday.

Twelve days in France crossing from Portsmouth to St Malo. Staying at the Vendee Loisirs Vacances site in St-Jean-De-Monts.

PGL Holiday (July 2012)
One week at the PGL site based in Barton Hall in Devon. Rock Climbing, Archery, Fencing, Canoeing, Zip Wire, Abseiling and more.

North Devon (Aug 2012)
One week in Croyde Bay Holiday Resort near Braunton.

Sunparks Belgium (Aug 2013)
One week on a Sunparks Holiday Park in Park De Haan in Belgium. Ferry Crossing Dover to Dunkirk.

Maori Italy (Aug 2014)
One week in the Hotel San Pietro in Maori

France (Oct 2015)
One week in Lonlay l'Abbaye, Western Lower Normandy, North Western France. Booked a House in the Village via airbnb.

Ferry Crossing from Portsmouth to Caen. Then fourteen days in quarantine.

France (August 2021)
Eighteen days in Laleu, Southern Normandy, North Western France. Booked a New Barn conversion near the Village via airbnb.
Laleu is near the Normandy town of Sées.
Ferry Crossing from Portsmouth to Caen. We had to do Covid Lateral Flow Testing before returning to the UK and a day 2 PCR on day two of being back in the UK.

France (May 2022)
Nine days in La Madeleine-Bouvet, Southern Normandy, North Western France. Booked a Farm House in the Village direct from Owner.
